Abella (or Ambella) is a beach close to Megas Gialos but not very popular since it is not along the main road like the other beaches in the area. Abella can be reached via a good paved road but if you are coming here on foot from Mikros Gialos keep in mind that the road going down to the beach is steep and the way back would be tiresome. Abella is a sandy beach but the sea bottom is covered by pebbles. There is one tavern right on the beach and some rooms to rent. Parasols are provided by the municipality.
