Vranganiotika

Vranganiotika (or Vragkaniotika) is an inland village in south Corfu. It lies in a large valley on the main road connecting this part of the island with north and central Corfu, and the closes beach is that of Messongi (4 km). Lake Korission with Chalikounas beach is 7 km away, and the large sandy dunes of Issos are within 6 km.

Vranganiotika is not tourist oriented and there are no shops or restaurants. It consists of relatively new houses of local residents and there is nothing to see or visit except for a small olive oil museum and shop just out of the village. The closest restaurant can be found in the neighbor village of Chlomatiana (less than 2 km away), and cafes and bakeries in the beautiful traditional village of Agios Mattheos at a distance of 6 km.
