Tavronitis
Tavronitis is a small village between Kolymvari and Maleme. It bears the name of the Tavronitis river which runs just next to the village and flows into the sea.
The beach of Tavronitis is about 1 km from the village and it is extension of Kolymvari beach. It has remained quiet and not much touristic, maybe because it has smooth large pebbles instead of sand around the shore. In the village center there are two tavernas and a mini market.
