Tarsanas

Tarsanas (also Gourgiotis) is a small beach within the limits of Limenas but it is in the westernmost part of it, at the end of the town. It got its name from Tarsanas Hotel, a complex of studios, restaurant and beach bar located right by the sea.

The beach has soft sand and shallow water. It is also open for visitors who are not guests of the hotel and the beach bar offers sunbeds and parasols which you can use for a charge. Behind the sunbeds there are high trees which cast extra shadow in the hot summer days.

In this area of the town there are many hotels and guesthouses with large green areas between them, so the place is very good for accommodation if you want to stay at Limenas but yet prefer to sleep in a quiet and peaceful environment. The center is 2 km away from Tarsanas.
