Sidari is a lively resort in the northern part of Corfu, about 35 km from the capital of the island. It is famous for Canal D`Amour or the Channel of Love - a narrow bay between two interesting sea rocks.

The resort is relatively new and formed by the merger of two seaside villages with common coastline. Suitable mainly for groups of friends, young couples or solo travelers.. There are various restaurants, bars and clubs, supermarkets, shops, ATMs, a small park and everything you need for your holiday. Boat trips are organized to the small nearby islands (Ereikoussa, Mathraki and Othonoi) and to the Albanian town of Saranda.

The most interesting place in Sidari are its beaches. They are separated by porous clay cliffs which give a yellowish color of the water around the coast. The main beach is next to the port and offers a variety of water sports - jet ski, water ski, banana, parasailing and diving. It is very long and organized with plenty of sunbeds and parasols. The sand is very fine and wet, and the water is very shallow even though there are often waves in this part of the island. The west end of this beach is known as Kastro and is separated by a small river flowing into the sea. The third beach is the area of Canal D`Amour. It consists of one small beach and two rock channels from both its sides. The real Canal D`amour is to the west and it has a small opening in the rock which allows you to swim through it to the other side. The last beach of Sidari is the small Apotripiti beach, accessible via a narrow road starting from the outskirts of the resort.
