Pygadaki

Pygadaki (also known as Skala Sykias) is one of the beaches of Sykia, located between Linaraki and Tourkolimnionas but it is better known as a fishing harbor with a couple of nice seafront taverns. It belongs to a series of coves which locals call "the five steps in the sand", and one of the taverns there bears the same name.

Pygadaki is small and covered with sand, relatively shallow around the shore. It is suitable for swimming and sunbathing if you don`t mind the pier with fishing boats which supply the local restaurants with fresh fish and seafood. Accommodation is also available here, in small guesthouses with studios and apartments. Sunbeds and umbrellas are provided for clients of one of the tavernas.
