Psathi

Psathi is a large but isolated beach on the east coast of Ios island. It is accessible via paved road, at a distance of approximately 17 km from Ios Chora. The area around Psathi is not urbanized therefore there are only a few buildings and a seasonal taverna.

The beach is long, covered with a mixture of sand and pebbles and with view of Iraklia island. There are no facilities like sunbeds and parasols but there is one small hotel right by the sea. The pier next to Psathi separates it from another smaller cove with sandy beach.
