Porto Roma

Porto Roma

The small fishing port of Porto Roma lies in the southernmost part of Vasilikos peninsula, Zakynthos. It has a narrow strip of sand mixed with pebbles, known as one of the quieter and less visited beaches of the island.

At Porto Roma there are some sunbeds and umbrellas to rent and two tavernas above the beach. The water is shallow around the shore but in some places there are rocks which are clearly visible. The neighbor beach of Mavratzis, which is just a kilometer away, is more sandy.
