Perivolos
Perivolos is located on the east coast of Santorini and populated only in the summer. It is considered a separate resort although it is the extension of Perissa. There is no clear border between them and they share one beach strip - a long and wide strip of black sand, without pebbles or rocks.
Perivolos is not well developed as a resort and compared to Perissa it is less touristic. The hotels are scattered and not so many. There are nice beach bars which attract many young people during the day but in the night it is quiet. Various water sports are available. Tavernas are also present, and the closest bakeries and shops can be fond along the main road which leads to Emporio - less than 3 km away.
