Ornos

Located only 3 km away from Mykonos Town, the small fishing port of Ornos has developed as a popular resort of the island, mostly for families. It offers all kind of hotels and guesthouses, restaurants, bakeries and shops. Ornos beach is set in a sheltered bay on the south coast. protected from the north winds, with coarse sand and clear water. A cluster of beach bars and tavernas place their sunbeds and parasols so there is not much free space but the prices are a bit lower compared to the party beaches like Elia and Paradise. Just behind Ornos, on the north coast lies the beach of Korfos which is famous among kite surfers.
