Nea Plagia

Nea Plagia is a small village and summer resort in the Thessaloniki gulf, very close to Kassandra. It is merged with the neighbor village Nea Flogita and both share the same beach strip with approximate length of 3 km.

The village has a long promenade with palm trees which runs along the coast and goes to Nea Flogita, suitable for evening walks. Around it you will find cafeterias, tavernas, bakeries, super markets and in the summer there is also a small amusement park for children. The beach is wide and sandy (with some pebbles around the shore here and there), with plenty of beach bars and free space. Nea Plagia is preferred mostly by families with small kids and elder couples but in fact it has all necessary facilities for a holiday, and both Kassandra and Sithonia are nearby for daily trips. The small seaside town of Nea Moudania is 8 km away.
