The Mining Museum

The Mining Museum of Milos is located in Adamas, on the main road which runs along the sea. The museum exhibits a collection of stones and minerals from the island and rare species found in the mines of Milos. Тhe geological history of the island is presented with the help of samples, photos and short movies. Old tools, clothes and equipment can be seen, as well as a movie in which ex miners tell about their work in the mines.
