Mavrospilia

Mavrospilia

Mavrospilia (meaning ”black cave”) is a sandy beach on the west coast of Kimolos, next to Elinika, and it really has a sea cave in the rocks. There is also a group of interesting cliffs in the sea in front of the beach and the sunset is very dramatic.

In order to get there, you should follow the signboards after Aliki. Part of the road to Mavrospilia is unpaved and there are almost no buildings around but in the summer a small beach bar operates there and provides sunbeds and parasols.
