Loutsa-Vrachos

Red and white

This Blue-Flag awarded long sandy beach with a long name stretches uninterrupted for 3 km. Its name comes from the names of two nearby villages of Loutsa and Vrachos which are away from the seashore, and their common beach strip is known as Loutsa in the north part and Vrachos in the south part.

Although not a village, Loutsa-Vrachos is developing as a resort and it has hotels, rooms to rent and tavernas. The promenade is full of beach bars, cafes and fast food restaurants. The beach is so large that even the many sunbeds and parasols, provided by the beach bars, do not make it seem occupied. There is always space on the beach if you want privacy and the place is preferred by families with children and couples who seek calm and relaxing holidays. The busy towns of Parga and Preveza are at a distance of 25 and 30 km, respectively.
