Kyparissos

Kyparissos beach

Kyparissos is a small seaside village in south Mani, close to Gerolimenas. It has a long history dating back to Roman times when the place was called Kenipolis (Kainipolis) and some ruins of walls and an ancient sanctuary can still be seen near the village. Kyparissos is built around two small bays, one is a fishing port and the other is a pebbled beach. There are two more beaches 2 km south and north of the village, both with pebbles.
