Kriaritsi
This beautiful sandy beach is located on the east coast of Sithonia, near Kalamitsi and Paralia Sykia. It is not visible from the main road and in order to reach it, you should travel about 3 km through the so called Ghost City of Sithonia - a place which was prepared for construction that never took place. Yet there is a network of streets via which you can access the beach.
Kriaritsi consists of one main beach and a few smaller coves, separated by rocks. On the main beach there are two campsite, a super market and a few beach bars. The smaller coves are usually occupied by nudes. Kriaritsi is not a shallow beach and people with children should be careful.
To reach Kriaritsi, you should find a crossroad located a few kilometers north of Kalamitsi, before Paralia Sykia. The signboard is on your right and says Akti Kriaritsi and Akti Klimataria (a small tip - do not try to reach Klimataria beach from here, there is easier route to it). The road is dirt the first 100 meters after you take the right turn but then it gets paved. On your way there are signboards here and there - follow them to reach Kriaritsi, otherwise you can get lost in the labyrinth of streets.
