Katelios

Katelios is a small fishing village on the southernmost coast of Kefalonia. It consists of the seaside area where most tourist facilities are concentrated (Kato Katelios) and the inner part where local residents live (Ano Katelios).

Katelios is a calm place with a long and narrow beach, covered with pebbles and sand. The number of sunbeds and parasols is limited but at the same time this beach is not among the popular destinations of the island and there are no crowds of visitors. Around the fishing harbor you will find seasonal tavernas and studios to rent, as well as one supermarket. The sandy beach of Kaminia is 3 km away but you can also reach it on foot from Katelios beach, as you follow the coastline.
