Kanistro

The main road along the beach

Kanistro beach is on the southeast coast of Kassandra, known as one of the beaches of Paliouri village which is 1-2 km away.

The road leading to Kanistro is good and paved but usually there are not many people except for the weekends of August. The air is very fresh due to high hills with the pine trees above the beach. Kanistro beach is about 1 km long, with sand and small pebbles around the shore. There are two beach bars operating in the summer but the closest shops and taverns are in Paliouri. Accommodation is available in a few hotels and villas around.
