Fanari
The small seaside village and port of Fanari is the most popular resort of the region. Nevertheless, it is still developing tourism and not very crowded.
Fanari has a couple of small beaches within the village and one very long beach outside of it. The long beach is Blue Flag awarded and has some beach bars, showers, changing cabins and water sport facilities. The few taverns and cafes in Fanari are concentrated along the port. Accommodation is available in small hotels, rooms to rent and one campsite.
Around the village there are some protected lakes where you can see pink flamingo and other birds. The Monastery of Agios Nikolaos, a very interesting place to visit, is 10 km away from Fanari.
