Exo Gonia

Exo Gonia is an old village in the middle of Santorini, close to Pyrgos. It is built on the hill which overlooks the east coast and the airport of the island.

When you enter Exo Gonia, you will notice the big church of Agios Charalambos - surprisingly it is not in the traditional white-blue colors typical for the churches of the Cyclades and it has tiles on the domes. In the village there are both old houses and new buildings, some hotels and restaurants. The closest beach is 3 km away.
