Delfini

Delfini is one of the largest beaches of Syros, located on the west coast, 1 km away from Kini. It is accessible via road which is partly unpaved but it is wide and in good condition. The bay of Delfini is also the last place on the northwest side that can be reached by car and the ”barren” and unpopulated part of Syros starts from here.

There is one beach cafe at Delfini which works only in the summer and offers sunbeds and parasols for a charge. The beach has large smooth pebbles both around the shore and in the water, there is just a small patch of sand in front of the cafe. Like in Kini and Galissas, the sunset is very beautiful from here. Around the beach there are apartments to rent.

The beach of Varvaroussa is a bit to the north but can be accessed only by boat or on foot from Delfini in a one-hour walk.
