Alopronia

Alopronia is the only port of Sikinos island. It consists mainly of seasonal hotels, several tavernas and mini markets.

The beach of Alopronia is next to the port and it is one of the three beaches of Sikinos which can be reached by car. It is covered with sand, including the sea bottom around the shore, and the trees at the back cast pleasant shadow in the hot afternoons. There is no beach bar but a few municipal parasols are provided to use free of charge, with benches instead of sunbeds.
