Alexandros

Alexandros is a small village in the middle between Karya and Nikiana, Lefkada island. All houses in the village are built in traditional way with stone walls, windows with wooden covers and small tiles in different shades of light brown. Alexandros is away from the sea and also away from the crowds and noise. The village is surrounded by small hills covered with trees and bushes, vineyards and farmland patches. The road going to the village is asphalt and allows very fast ride to both the seaside around Nikiana and the traditional village of Karya in the mountain.

Most of the houses in Alexandros are holiday homes which are inhabited during the summer and the holidays. The few small hotels and villas are scattered around the village and are good choice for people looking for calm and idyllic vacation away from the busy life. In Alexandros there are no restaurants and shops but visitors can find them in nearby places.
