Agios Stefanos-West

There are two places in Corfu bearing the name Agios Stefanos - on the northwest and the northeast coast. In our site we distinguish them as Agios Stefanos-West (a beach) and Agios Stefanos-East (a small harbor).

Agios Stefanos-West is a small seaside resort with long beach, situated between the peaceful Arillas and the famous Sidari. There is almost everything necessary for tourists but the place is more suitable for a peaceful holiday and relaxation. There are hotels, villas and studios to rent, a few supermarkets, restaurants, ATM and cafes but the place is populated only in the summer.

The beach is characterized by soft dark yellow sand and very shallow water, suitable for small kids. It stretches for more than 1 km, with plenty of sunbeds and parasols offered by beach bars and restaurants but the distant north end is usually empty and wilder. Agios Stefanos has a harbor from which boat trips are organized, and especially popular are those to the small inhabited islands of Mathraki, Othonoi and Ereikoussa.
