Agios Georgios Nilias is a mountainous village in Northwest Pelion, between Agios Vlasios and Pinakates. It is accessible from the seaside villages of Ano Lechonia or from Kato Gatzea. Do not confuse it with the other Agios Georgios which is on the east coast of Pelion and better known as Katigiorgis.

Agios Georgios Nilias is an old village with traditional houses built on the slopes of a hill high above the sea level and with beautiful views of the sea and the west coast. Old buildings are restored in their original architecture and turned into boutique hotels or guesthouses. The road passes through the village center and just next to the small plateia where you will find a few tavernas.

The closest beaches are Kato Gatzea, Malaki and Kala Nera, within 20 minutes drive.
