Agia Anna

Blue water

Agia Anna is a small but charming resort, famous for its beautiful sandy beach. It is located between Agios Prokopios and Plaka, all three connected via a coastal road and within short walking distance one from each other.

Agia Anna is a holiday village which is populated only in the summer. It offers small hotels, villas, restaurants, car rental company and one mini market but you can find more shops and other services in the neighbor Agios Prokopios. Agia Anna is calmer and for this reason more preferred by families with kids. The beach of the resort is considered one of the best on Naxos, with fine sand and blue water, suitable for small children as well. Part of it is just next to the coastal road, with sunbeds and parasols of beach cafes and free space between them - this is the calmer beach area. The other part is in the pedestrian area of the village and it is entirely occupied by densely positioned sunbeds - it is livelier and noisier but a bit away from the coastal road. And the third part is around the fishing pier where a cove is formed, there are no beach facilities here but there may be fishing boats in the sea in front of the beach.

Near Agia Anna you can visit the authentic old villages of Agios Arsenios (4 km), Vivlos (7 km) and Ano Sangri (10 km). The center of Naxos Town is less than 15 minutes drive and there are regular bus connections.
