Abella
Abella (or Ampella) is a beach close to Megas Gialos but not very popular since it is not along the main road like the other beaches in the area. Abella can be reached via a good paved road but there is also a shortcut for those coming on foot from Megas Gialos - narrow concrete steps.
Abella is a sandy beach but the sea bottom is covered with pebbles. There is one tavern right on the beach and some rooms to rent. Parasols are free to use and are provided by the municipality.
